You might read books that inspire you intellectually or spiritually, or you could pursue some sort of activity that allows you to integrate your mind and body. Yoga, tai chi or martial arts will all be very appealing to you now. Mixing your workouts is also a good idea. Use your imagination to prevent boredom – and stay interested in your body’s progress.

Social gatherings will be part of your life now, so make sure you’re covered in terms of staying with your program. If you know some food that’s bad for your diet is about to be served, eat something healthy before you show up for the event. That way, you may not even be tempted to fill up on calorie-rich, nutrition-poor items such as cake and canapés.
