Feeling good is usually the result of something you’ve done for the betterment of your mind, body and spirit. Don’t forget that part! You will undoubtedly feel strong and healthy today, but it’s not because you’ve allowed yourself to do whatever felt “good” for the last several days or weeks. Rather than sinking back into indulgence and laxity, take your happy attitude and pour it into doing an even better job of sticking to your eating and exercise regimen. Enjoy good times with a friend or someone you really love if you want to treat yourself. Your discipline and self-control will be right there with you now, whether you attempt to set out on a whole new program for health and fitness, or you simply want to keep up a system you’ve already instituted. You will be able to detach your feelings from the facts, and tell yourself what needs to be done without being too easy – or too hard – on yourself. You can change the things about your past that might have not been too supportive of your health, such as a bad habit. Look to support from family and friends, who will be especially glad to watch you remove unhealthy behavior from your life.
