It’s true that you might feel years younger or much stronger than you actually are, but you shouldn’t allow that to stop you from being careful about what you do. Being brave and strong is one thing, but taking risks is a whole other thing. This applies especially to overtaxing your system, in different ways. Exercise should not go to the point where any of your muscles feel like they’re being pushed beyond reasonable limits – particularly your heart. Limit your intake of fats and fried foods, no matter how much exercise you’ve done, so you don’t put your liver and other purification systems on “tilt.” This is a good day for starting something new that’s healthy and wholesome. If you’re already a well-disciplined person, then you can treat yourself to some kind of clothing or equipment that makes your workout more enjoyable. If you’re not, start thinking positive about your possibilities. There’s no reason to “let yourself go,” if you don’t really want to. Break old habits, such as extended coffee and tea breaks or endless happy hours at your favorite watering hole, find a program that works for you, and get started today!
